  • The living area should appear to be special and open unlike the already available one
  • The Asian-inspired ambiance is mandatory
  • The rooms should appear hip and very Asia-inspired in terms of interior and décor
  • Buddha accessories and statues must also be included when decorating the apartment
  • Stone flooring will give the vibes of a tropical resort

The space to be curated needed to be revamped according to the theme.

The inspiration was taken from various websites and portals where these kinds of interior designs had been experimented with in the past.

For instance, the mandatory items to be used in this theme are wooden accentuated ornaments, plants, indoor plants, stones, woven textiles, wickers, etc. All of these items would work best if complemented with a pastel palette as they will easily stand out.

In short, it is all about zen – the balance of life!

Mood board

The mood board for this particular apartment was kept natural and light. Immense emphasis was given to the peaceful surrounding and atmosphere. The color pallet was selected accordingly to five full of life and neutral feel to the apartment. The interior was kept inviting and Cozy- which is an integral part of the tropical resorts along by accentuating it with warm stones and wooden accents.

The depth of the mood board was achieved by the embellished organic textures. to create Balinese interior design, it is very important to create a design that is a perfect blend of zen tropical vibes and a blended modern sensibility ideology.

Let’s dissect the components of the apartment further to see how well it can be transformed according to the theme at hand.

The Bedroom Space

The master bedroom was given a Balinese-style interior décor by infusing the buddhas with a futuristic undertone. The overall ambiance created was chic, light and airy. The perfect balance for the room was achieved by pairing the contemporary accessories with the modern touch of furniture.

Furnishings were kept minimalist to keep the design unfussy and the clean lines of the tropical resort are visible.

A mandatory glass door balcony was curated for the master bedroom which brought a lot of natural light into the room during the day. At night time the balcony gave perfect artificial light to come in keeping the interior bright and nice.

A modern Balinese-style interior design has to be sleek. The minimalistic look will give out a supreme look but most importantly it needs to gel in with the organic influences of the tropical resort vibes.

The perfect balance between modernity and the stone and wooden accents is what makes the visuals appealing.

The addition of zen is mandatory across the apartment as the whole apartment is designed according to one theme.

The Tranquillity Quotient

Tranquillity is a must when you think of a luxurious vacation. This must be evident in the washrooms and bathrooms of the apartment as well. To get the tranquillity quotient in the bathroom, it is always advised to use a lot of natural materials. These materials can be stone, wood, wicker, and woven accents to ensure the diversity in the apartment as well in the restrooms.

When it comes to an apartment analogy –the deifying place is always the living area. This is where most of the time is spent so it must be decorated wisely.

The overall space

The addition of rugs, wooden accents, mirrors, lamps, and plants will bring warmth to the apartment. And what can be more appealing than a statue of Budha perched on a bespoke table in the living area? Sounds perfect, doesn’t it?
