{"id":775,"date":"2022-02-14T11:38:59","date_gmt":"2022-02-14T06:38:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thecubicfeetdesign.com\/blog\/?p=775"},"modified":"2022-09-05T11:04:01","modified_gmt":"2022-09-05T06:04:01","slug":"cozy-log-cabin-living-room","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thecubicfeetdesign.com\/blog\/cozy-log-cabin-living-room\/","title":{"rendered":"Before &#038; After: Cozy Log Cabin Living Room"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A nice cozy log cabin living room \u2013 what more can one ask for while staying in a cabin deep in the woods, right?<\/p>\n<p>The quiet comfort, the coziness, the smell of the plantation \u2013 anyone would want to escape the busy life of the city and spend some time in solace deep into the woods in a cozy living room.<\/p>\n<p>We came up with a discovery of how to transform a log cabin room by accentuating its coziness temperature as well as the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thecubicfeetdesign.com\/services\/interior-design\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">design<\/a> quota.<\/p>\n<p>We already had a <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Living_room\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">living room<\/a> in a cabin but decided to revamp it with the help of new aesthetics in the market as well as newer technological aspects that will make the cabin stay warm throughout the long winter nights and days.<\/p>\n<p>Transforming a log cabin living room was a challenge as this project is unique and needs expertise in its interior design. Any given room can be a living room but a log cabin room needs specially curated accessories which will accentuate the coziness as well as the comfort of the room.<\/p>\n<h2>The Challenge:<\/h2>\n<p>The challenge at hand is to transform the log cabin living room into a refined and contemporary look. A living room has a great potential of going haywire while getting revamped. Whatever the style is selected it is the essence of the material used that defines a living room. Here it was already decided that this room will spin around the rustic theme of the interior.<\/p>\n<h2>Cozy log cabin living room mood board:<\/h2>\n<p>Mood board was created for the cozy log cabin living room keeping in mind that the style is supposed to be contemporary while giving space to let the architecture shine on its own. This move will benefit in implying log structure into the interior as well.<\/p>\n<p>The designer decided to capture the essence of rural beauty by transforming the indoor into a stunning and elegant space. The design will enhance the rustic features of the living room such as the exposed log walls and the tall beams for support.<\/p>\n<p>A special unpretentious color palette was created consisting of warm wooden tones along with black iron, flax, and a subtle shade of off-white. These colors were incorporated with natural fabrics, reclaimed wood, iron, and leather.<\/p>\n<p>The above-mentioned intelligent amalgamation made all the elements appear like an essential part of the log cabin living room.<\/p>\n<p>The interior of the living room comprises both existing and new features, organized in such a way that maximum space is utilized while keeping it inviting and warm.<\/p>\n<p>A light-colored couch was specially placed to give the living room the contemporary look as per the demand. A light-colored earthy tone set the contemporary look of the living room while keeping the fireplace as rustic as it could be.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>\u00a0\u201cA perfect spot to relax, intertwine and enjoy\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The sitting area was embellished with the help of leather armchairs as well as a wooden coffee table. The place was supposedly in neutral hues but a splash of black in iron side tables or the bedroom didn\u2019t embark the feminist out of us infarct this special curation ruffled an instinctive smile on the face of the fellow actor.<\/p>\n<p>The addition of a neutral geometric pattern rug breaks out the difficulty yet monotony that spreads across the cabin.<\/p>\n<p>Small detailing such as a sun motif or a handwoven basket, actually accentuated this small decoration.\u00a0 Most important, maintain the source of light in the room. There are chandeliers sprouting across the place on literally every step. There were artistic floor woven lamps and handwoven baskets in order to keep the light source intact and the room bright.<\/p>\n<h3><strong><u>End Note on Cozy Log Cabin Living Room:<\/u><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Recreating a log cabin living room is not an easy job. It requires a proper course from a renowned industry \u2013 only then take a risk. This project was exclusively done to revamp the living room hidden deep in the woods but to be done with class.<\/p>\n<p>The cabin log living room has been transformed into a state-of-the-art product. It is a space that you own and want to go and rewind after the hectic schedule of busy city life. The rustic ambiance amalgamated with contemporary accessories makes it stand out on its own.
